Statues of Kings on East Wall [ Play
Narrated and Animated Movie ! ] The five large statues of kings on the sills of the windows in the east wall were originally outside on the north front of the building.
These rare survivals are outstanding works of English 14th-century sculpture.
The statues show idealised representations of medieval kingship: they do not set out to portray any individual monarchs.
