The floor of the East Corridor is laid with Minton tiles, much worn and much patched, for this is one of the busiest thoroughfares of the Palace of Westminster. The simple design is carried out in buff, dark blue and red, and contains the initials VR - ie. Victoria Regina, together with various floriated tiles based on Medieval models.
